1 Peter 1:20 states "But know this FIRST of all, that no prophesy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation". If one wants an answer of Truth for any doctrinal or practical question or issue they are facing, they must apply FIRST PRINCIPLES in allowing the Scriptures to interpret themselves.
